Chloe Roddis
BioClocks UK Postgraduate Representative
I completed my undergraduate at the University of Sheffield in Psychology, I went on to complete a Master’s in Clinical Neurology, where I developed a strong foundation in brain-behaviour relationships and neurological health. My interest in the intersection of neuroscience and sensory systems deepened during my time as a research assistant in ophthalmic medicine within the NHS. There, I gained valuable experience in clinical research, patient interaction, and data analysis. This experience inspired me to pursue a PhD focused on understanding the effects of light on mood, combining elements of circadian biology, neuroscience, and mental health. I am currently a postgraduate researcher and PGR representative for the BioClocks community, where I help advocate for fellow PGR researchers and contribute to interdisciplinary discussions on chronobiology.
