We study how circadian rhythms and sleep are affected by cellular oxidative stress and in neurodegenerative conditions such as Parkinson’s disease. In particular, we interrogate how signalling pathways involved in synapse-to-nucleus communication are altered by neurological conditions and cellular redox status and how this links to the molecular circadian clock.

Drosophila; Eukaryotic cells (including primary and transformed cell lines); Caenorhabditis elegans or other worms
