Research Summary
Model Systems
Research Methods
Our research explores the fascinating phenomena of how organisms change their traits in response to environmental cues, how they pass on this information to their offspring, and how they evolve at the molecular level. We investigate the complex interplay between hosts and their microbial partners, and the epigenetic processes that enable them to adapt to changing conditions. We employ diverse model systems, such as the fruit fly and the jewel wasp, to uncover the secrets of life.
