Research Methods
I study biological rhythms in and around human sleep, how these rhythms are influenced by internal and external factors such as genetics, age or societal timing (school and work times, daylight saving time) and how these rhythms are linked with outcomes such as health and well-being. My main research method is activity tracking and big datasets; rhythms range from ultradian to circadian to seasonal.
